We are sooooooooo ready for spring! We took everybody hiking this weekend at roaring river state park and although it was chilly we had fun! Avery and Lincoln are such good climbers its crazy! They even scaled some low rock walls this trip! And Henry likes to have a couple of chopping sticks and find hiding places. Ev is a trouper and rode with momma the whole day-which helped keep us both warm! Next time hopefully it will be warm enough for fishing poles!
Sorry, I have no hiking pics because I left my phone and camera in the car.

...having four kids...
Somebody asked me the other day (as I navigated the mall with kids in tow) what it was like to have FOUR kids. All that came to mind was the song, "when will my life begin" from Tangled. Not that my life hasn't begun :) but the way she describes her days...that's us!!! Hahaha! In all seriousness though most days it's a happy chaos with hilarious moments, some tears, being overwhelmed a few times, some messes, lots of hugs, lots of laughing, and so much love!

Being two...and being sick
Henry is TWO! It seems like he is still my baby, yet so much older than two already. He has so much personality and is so fun to be around! He's stubborn and silly, definitely has that notorious red-head temper, but can give the best cuddles. He and Lincoln are the best of friends all day long (with a few good fights for good measure). He has mastered the two footed jump, has 20 teeth, knows all his shapes and colors, can count to twelve, an recognizes a few letters. He also can sing the songs "let it go" and "in summer" from Frozen, and climbs on EVERYTHING! He still loves to color and do glue projects, blew out both candles on his cake, and will go to anyone who is willing to carry him around all day!
It was a great birthday, followed by a week of everyone getting sick. Poor little Everett even got it...his first cold:( Henry is the only one who ended up with antibiotics, so hopefully we will soon be germ free again!
Looking forward to spring and our next visit to KC!
